Joshua Tree Boho Style Elopement | Destination Elopement Photographer

As a native North Carolina photographer, let me just tell you there is something MAGICAL about the sunset in the dessert! It took golden hour to a whole new level. This trip to Joshua Tree in California for Brittney and Tim’s elopement was so inspiring, exciting, and fun to capture!

One of my favorite parts about being an elopement photographer is the freedom you have to do what you want, when you want. You can get married almost anywhere! If you’re looking for the perfect place with sunset views, Joshua Tree is the perfect place to say “I Do.” If you’re looking for a photographer, send me a message! One of my favorite parts about this elopement day were the fun and colorful details added to their intimate setting. Their ceremony décor had sunset colors, boho styled florals, and a beautiful arched backdrop. They had a small seating area set up for close friends and family to witness.

For the reception area, they had an intimate wooden table with macramé details, deep warm floral arrangements, and golden accents. Just imagine how beautiful it is to have dinner with your closest loved ones watching the sun go down at Joshua Tree. One of my favorite details from their day was the mini photo booth bus! This was such a fun addition to their elopement day, and we took the cutest pictures of them with it!

I have always loved traveling, so destination elopements have a place in my heart. This is so special to me because it takes the focus away from throwing a huge event, and just celebrating the two of you and your love! It gives us the creative freedom to take beautiful photos in amazing places, and focus on what is most important.
